Unilever to Add Activist Investor Nelson Peltz to Board

Unilever PLC mentioned it could add Nelson Peltz to its board and that the activist investor’s Trian Fund Management LP holds a 1.5% stake within the firm, a transfer that comes because the Dove proprietor seeks to reinvigorate its efficiency.

Mr. Peltz mentioned in a press release Tuesday that Unilever had “significant potential” and that he wished to work collaboratively with the corporate.
