We are delighted to announce that Hannah Knowles is taking over a new function as a national political reporter targeted on masking the 2022 midterm elections and the 2024 presidential marketing campaign.

Hannah has already distinguished herself as a pure marketing campaign reporter whereas filling in on the group in latest weeks, writing with velocity, sweep and precision. She documented Pennsylvania Democrats’ private worries about John Fetterman’s Senate marketing campaign; wrote a high-altitude primary night story about Democratic divisions over crime; and reported with authority on races from Alaska to California and elsewhere.

Hannah involves National from the General Assignment group, the place she is understood for her tenacious reporting, nimble writing and her capacity to sort out advanced topics with ease.

Since becoming a member of The Post in 2019, she has deftly coated a wide selection of matters, together with the conflict in Ukraine and the Ahmaud Arbery homicide trial; she additionally wrote about covid-19 and its politicization throughout a stint with the Health and Science group. Hannah grew up in San Jose, Calif. She holds a B.A. in English from Stanford University, the place she received hooked on journalism by her work on the coed newspaper.
