Biden Says He Is Near Decision on Backing Federal Gasoline-Tax Holiday

WASHINGTON—President Biden stated Monday that he could decide on in search of a pause to the federal gasoline tax by the tip of the week, as Americans cope with soaring gas prices.

Mr. Biden informed reporters in Rehoboth Beach, Del., that he’s contemplating a gasoline tax vacation. “I hope to have a decision based on the data I’m looking for by the end of the week,” he stated.
